129: Autumn's Call Small Wall Sampler (September 10, 2021)



Description of class:  You will be learning how to use crayons to color and highlight a small wall sampler as well as learn several embroidery stitches.  This project does not need a sewing machine.

Who should take this class: Anyone who wants to learn how to hand embroidery and  color technique on fabric.  Any skill level!

Date & Time:  Friday, Sept 10th  10 am - 3 pm     

Kit includes the following:
Pattern, embroidery floss kit, brown Pigma pen, fat quarter of a solid, set of embroidery needles and Pellon SF101.

Other supplies needed:
Box of 64 or greater Crayola crayons (only Crayola brand!)
White crayon - one will work but you can also buy a box of 8.
Light box ... No need to buy one, but if you have one, bring it!
Pins
Pinking shears or pinking rotary (you can borrow one in class)
Cutting mat
Scissors
Iron and mat (optional)
Tack it (you'll find this in the picture mounting section). It's a sticky putty looking product. If you can't find this, Dawnell will have some in class you can use.
